After we have been waiting for this vicility of time days by days, our last day for this inaugural camp preparation comes to the end. For sure, it means that the camp is starting tommorrow morning.

Not so long, the car brings some of us from Ubon Ratchathani University to the village. Along the way to our destination, one by one, our staff jump onto Ajarn's car before we all together arrive at the village 40 minutes later.
After we got there, an old village is lying peacfully on a huge area and in a heat of the April's sun. The villagers are busily preparing for their work but they do not forget to welcome us with their warm-hearted smils.
The first place we drop by is Pha Aum's house. It is where we are staying during the upcoming event. It is a two-storey wooden house with some parts of it are reconstructed by concrete. We just do not want to call it our base but our house, at least for temporary period, for the host family is so nice and friendly to us. There, we are welcomed by local breakfast--plenty of foods.
At the Suan Mor-Lau Suer Gok (University-Lau Suer Gok village), some of our kid members are getting a long very well with their new friends who are specially welcomed from other areas for this historical event. It seems not to be easy for our staff at all to run the activities in the hottest month of the year, but we try our best to make this camp a edutaining and viable camp. However, the kids seem to do it better with more energy and enthusiasm. Luckily, we are relieved because many big, small or tiny trees are all around.

When I firstly heard that Ajarn Metee is teaching English to village kids at his hometown and needs volunteers students to help with the project, I suddenly say 'yes' to be one in the team. Today, all of us are having a lot of fun. We feel a little bit tired, but we also want to teach kids and want them to be good at English. I do not feel disappointed at all. Instead, I would feel very desperately disappointed if I did not decide to do this.
Name: Pui
A third year Engish and Communication student
Age: 22
"Ex and I am teaching at rotation 1. It is about subject verb agreement. Well! It is quite difficult because some kids are very lower than our lesson is. Anyway, overall is good and I personally like it."

A fourth year student, majoring in Engilsh and Communication
Age 23
"We are utterly exhausted, but our exhaustion has been totally alliviated by the kids' enthusiasm and good participation. We are doing our best for the rest kraab."

Sincerely, we never forget to say 'thank you very much' to Lung Garn and other lovely and supportive villagers who always understand and encourage us to carry off our mission as always. We are delightedly touched by all of the kind distribution everyone gives to us.
Last but not least, all of us--campers and staff-- would like to take this opportunitiy to express our thank to Ajarn Metee Kansa for including us in this charity project, cultivating and encouraging us to learn how to give more and take less.
